Mountain Top Retreat is located south west of the city of Montrose. From Townsend Avenue turn west onto 90 road and follow signage to the camp. The drive starts paved before transitioning to a well maintained gravel road uphill for the last few minutes of the drive to your destination. The campgrounds has a mix of dirt and gravel with some of the paths better suited to vehicles with some clearance. Nevertheless, campers and RV’s shouldn’t have any trouble reaching the designated spots. 

Enjoy the drive up Dave Wood Road and take in the very western-slope-beauty at the boarders of the Uncompahgre Forest.
